What It Solves
Running Your Own Show Gets Messy.
Not knowing where to start, guest emails about time zones, an empty content plan and three tools that don't know each other. This is what the workspace takes care of.
"I want a podcast, but I don't know where to start."
A six-step setup takes you from show basics and a cover to a recorded trailer, a published feed and your first guest. Skip any step and pick it up later.
"Booking guests takes endless emails about times and time zones."
Share your booking page. Guests pick a time in their own time zone and fill in their details, headshot and bio in the same visit.
"I never know what to talk about next."
The idea generator drafts episode ideas in eight real estate formats, each with a title, an angle and five outline points.
"I record, then nothing gets posted."
A content calendar with a weekly goal and a publishing streak, plus a "needs attention" list for anything that slipped.
"My guests never share the episode."
Each guest gets a share page with links to the episode, a quote graphic and ready-to-post captions.
"I can't tell if any of this is working."
One analytics page with your podcast downloads, top episodes and weekly insights, plus a weekly email.
"Who on my team is allowed to change what?"
Five roles: Owner, Co-host, Editor, Assistant and Reviewer. What each can do is checked on every action, not just hidden on screen. Share the work without sharing everything.
"We run several agents' shows."
One sign-in can belong to more than one show. Switch between them from the page header, each with its own team and roles.
How It Works
From Invitation To Published Episode
Six steps. You and your team do the work, including the recording; the ICONS tools are where it happens.
- 01
Get invited and sign in
Enter your email, open the link and press Sign in. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. No password.
- 02
Set up your show
Six steps: show basics, branding, connect your accounts, record a trailer, publish, first guest. Every step can be skipped and resumed.
- 03
Share your booking page
Guests pick a time in their own time zone and fill in their details. Each booking shows up on your dashboard and bookings page.
- 04
Run your own recording
Press "Open studio" on the dashboard and you run the session in ICONS Live, in your browser. Each person is recorded separately.
- 05
Review and publish
Send the recording to ICONS Review for comments, then publish to your podcast feed on ICONS Podcast Hosting. Plan the rest of the month on the content calendar.
- 06
Promote and measure
Every guest gets a share page for the episode, and analytics show your downloads and top episodes.
Features
What's In ICONS DIY Podcast
The full list. Nothing here needs production experience.
Setting up your show
A guided setup in six steps: show basics, branding, connect accounts, record a trailer, publish, first guest. Skip any step, press "Save & finish later" and come back.
Show basics
Show name, one-line description, category, language, host name, license number and brokerage. One form feeds your cover, your trailer script and your feed.
A cover from a template
Pick a cover template, enter the title, your name and photo, and preview the result. A professional cover without design skills.
Connect your accounts
Connect your calendar and see your podcast's RSS feed address, so everything is in one place.
Record a trailer
Start from an AI-drafted script of 60 to 90 seconds, edit it, then record it in your browser with ICONS Live.
Publish the trailer
Publish to your podcast feed and see your listing status on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. You submit to each directory on its own site.
Your first guest
Pick from three suggested guests from the ICONS network, or copy your own booking link and send it.
Planning and publishing
Know what you are recording next and when it goes out.
Dashboard with upcoming episodes
One card per booked guest, showing whether their details are in, with an "Open studio" button to start the recording.
Episode idea generator
Enter your market, audience, niche and past titles. Get ideas in eight real estate formats, such as a market update, a neighborhood spotlight, first-time buyer tips or an investor interview, each with a title, a two-sentence angle and five outline points. Save an idea, schedule it or mark it used.
Guest brief
An AI draft of the guest's bio, three talking points and a question list, made from the guest's form. You check and edit it before you record.
Content calendar
Month, week and list views of everything you publish, with filters and a "needs attention" list. Drag saved ideas onto dates. For Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and X you get a reminder on the day, a caption to copy and a file to download. To have posts written from your episode and posted for you, use ICONS Social.
Weekly goal and publishing streak
Set a weekly goal, such as one episode and three clips a week, and watch your streak build.
Guests
Booking, details and the recording room, without the back-and-forth emails.
Guest booking page
A public page with your show's branding and "Powered by ICONS". Guests pick a time in their own time zone.
Guest details form
Name, email, phone, headshot and short bio, plus optional company, website, social links, topics to cover and avoid, and how they would like to be introduced.
Bookings page
A table of every guest and where their booking stands. Copy your booking link from here.
Open studio
One click from the dashboard opens the recording session in ICONS Live, where you run the recording yourself.
Send for review
A finished recording goes to ICONS Review for comments before you publish.
Promotion and results
Get the episode shared and see what is working.
A share page for every guest
Links to the episode on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, a quote graphic and ready-to-post captions, so your guest can share the episode.
Get listed status
See whether your show is listed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other directories.
Analytics
Podcast downloads, your top episodes and weekly insights, with a CSV export and a weekly email. Insight numbers are calculated from your data, never made up by AI.
Account, team and access
The foundations of the workspace.
Sign in with an email link
No password. You enter your email, receive a link, open it and press Sign in. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. Sessions last 14 days.
Sign-in by invitation
Only people on a show's team or invited by ICONS receive a sign-in link. Everyone else sees the same "Check your email" page. Ask for an invitation through the form on this page; it is free.
Five team roles
Owner, Co-host, Editor, Assistant and Reviewer. What each can do is checked on every action, not just hidden on screen.
Invite your team by email
The Owner types an email address and picks a role. Add help without contacting ICONS.
Approval before publishing
An optional rule: content from Editors and Assistants waits for an Owner or Co-host to approve it.
Team page and activity list
The Owner sees members, changes a role or removes someone, and sees who changed what on the team. A show always keeps at least one Owner.
Several shows under one sign-in
A person in more than one show switches between them from the page header. Made for agencies and brokerages that manage several agents' shows.
Paid help from ICONS, when you want it
Optional. ICONS DIY Podcast itself is free; these are extra services from the ICONS team. Ask through the form on this page for details.
One-to-one expert sessions
A 45-minute video session in ICONS Live, recorded, with a transcript, action items and a rating afterwards.
Setup orders
Order a logo, cover, trailer edit, intro and outro from the ICONS team, as a bundle or one by one, with 2 revisions per item and a status tracker.
Content service
Monthly plans or per-episode orders for clips, quote graphics, carousels, captions, scheduling and uploading.
What's Different
Built For A Podcast Team, Not A Solo Login
Built for real estate.
Your license number and brokerage are part of setup, and the idea generator works in real estate formats: market updates, neighborhood spotlights, first-time buyer tips, investor interviews and more.
Connected to the ICONS guest network.
Suggested guests come from the network behind 120+ agent podcasts, next to your own booking link.
You run the recording.
Open the studio from your dashboard and run the session yourself in ICONS Live, then send it to ICONS Review and publish on ICONS Podcast Hosting.
Roles that are enforced.
A permission is checked on every action, not just hidden on screen. An assistant cannot do an owner's job by finding the right link.
Do it yourself, with help on tap.
ICONS DIY Podcast is for running the show yourself, with optional paid help from the same team. If you would rather record and let ICONS handle the rest, that is Podcast Production, where the ICONS team runs the recording for you.
