    Before you print

    • Scan the downloaded file with two or three different phones, from the distance people will actually stand.
    • This is a static code: the link is built into the pattern and can't be changed after printing. Point it at a page you control, so you can update the page instead of reprinting.
    • Keep dark code on a light background with clear space around it. Light-on-dark and low-contrast colors fail on some phones.
    • Check your brokerage, MLS and state advertising rules for what must appear on signs and flyers next to the code.

    How to use it

    1. Paste the link: a listing page, a property video, an open-house sign-in form, your booking page, or a podcast episode where prospects can hear you before they call.
    2. Optional: open Add tracking and say where the code will be printed. The tool adds UTM tags so your analytics can count the visits.
    3. Pick your colors, error correction and quiet zone. The defaults suit most print jobs.
    4. Download a PNG for flyers, emails and slides, or an SVG for your printer or designer, then test it with a few phones.

    How it works

The code is drawn in your browser with the open-source node-qrcode library. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, and there's no account, no expiry and no redirect: the link goes straight into the code.

That also means there are no scan statistics and the destination can't be changed after printing. Services that offer "dynamic" codes do that by sending scans through their own redirect, usually on a paid plan. Adding UTM tags gets you visit counts in your own analytics without a middleman.

Higher error correction lets a scratched or partly covered code still scan, at the cost of a denser pattern. Medium suits most uses.
