What Guesting Looks Like Without A System

Most agents who want to be podcast guests stall on the same six things. The Hub was built around them.

"I don’t know which podcasts my clients actually listen to."

Browse real estate shows by theme, area and network, with a page per podcast that says what the host is looking for.

"I’m sick of cold-emailing hosts who never reply."

Apply from the podcast page with a short pitch, or pick an open slot with hosts who take bookings on the Hub.

"I don’t have a media kit or a one-sheet to send."

Your public guest profile carries your bio, speaking topics, suggested questions and a downloadable one-sheet.

"It takes five emails just to agree a recording time."

Hosts who take bookings show their open slots. You pick one, confirm your email and get the meeting details.

"I never know what time the host means."

Booking times are shown in the time zone you choose, and the confirmation repeats the date, time and zone.

"I can’t remember which shows I applied to or when I’m recording."

Applications, interviews and release dates are listed and shown on a calendar in your account.

How It Works

Five Steps For Guests

Create a profile once. Then find shows, apply or book, and keep every recording in one place.

  1. 01

Choose a plan and create your account

The sign-up wizard walks you through personal and professional details, experience, location, social links, a photo and a one-sheet.

  2. 02

    Build your guest profile

Add your bio, speaking topics, one-sheet and links. Switch the profile to public to appear in the guest directory.

  3. 03

    Browse the podcast directory

Filter by theme, area or network, search by podcast or host name, and save the shows you like.

  4. 04

    Apply or book

Open a podcast and select "Apply to Be a Guest", or use a host’s booking page to pick a recording slot.

  5. 05

    Track and record

Follow your applications and interviews in your account, and record on the date shown.

Booking a host directly, with no account

Hosts who take bookings on the Hub have a "Book with [host]" link on their podcast page. The whole thing takes four steps.

  1. Open the host’s booking link from the podcast page or the link the host shared with you.
  2. Choose your time zone, then a date and an available time.
  3. Confirm your email with a 6-digit code and fill in your details. Autofill from your website is optional.
  4. Submit, then add the recording to Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar from the confirmation page.

Hosts offer weekday slots only (Monday to Friday). By default they ask for 4 days' notice, offer one-hour slots, take up to 2 bookings a day and show about 12 weeks ahead. Each host can change these.

What's On The Hub

Every Feature, In Plain English

Everything below is live today for members and visitors.

Podcast directory

Active real estate podcasts with a host, ICONS network shows first. Search by podcast or host name and filter by 49 themes (Luxury Real Estate, Fix & Flip, Mortgage & Lending and Women in Real Estate among them), by area, and by ICONS Network or general podcasts.

Podcast pages

Show details, hosts, cover art, locations, episodes, media appearances, related podcasts and a "What we’re looking for" section so you can judge fit before you apply.

Guest directory and profile pages

A public page per guest with photo, title, location, social links, about section, stats, designations, speaking topics, suggested interview questions, testimonials and podcast appearances. Sections appear only when you fill them in.

Media kit download

Upload a PDF one-sheet (up to 5 MB) and hosts can download it from your profile in one click. Headshots can be PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP, up to 5 MB.

Guest showcase editor

Up to 30 expertise tags, 5 stats, 20 speaking topics and 12 testimonials, plus designations, interview questions, experience and links. Biographies run to 2,000 characters.

Bookmarks, share and save

Logged-in members can save podcasts and guests and filter either directory to their saved items. Every guest page has a share button.

Apply to be a guest

Submit a pitch (10 to 500 characters) and preferred recording dates from the podcast page. ICONS network shows ask for a preferred date. One pending application per show keeps pitches from doubling up.

Application credits and tracking

Each plan includes a number of applications per billing period, and your account shows the limit, used and remaining. Applications move through Pending, Approved, Scheduled, Rescheduled, Recorded, Released or Rejected, updated by the ICONS team.

My interviews and calendar

Upcoming, recorded, rescheduling and canceled interviews, published episodes, and a calendar of recording and release dates. You can also report when an outside episode was recorded or released.

Self-booking with hosts

Hosts set up for bookings have a public booking page: pick a host, time zone, date and time from live availability. No account needed.

Booking confirmation

The confirmation page shows the meeting link, date, time and time zone with "Add to Google Calendar" and "Add to Outlook Calendar". You and the host are both emailed.

Reschedule links

Hosts share a personal reschedule link so either side can pick a new slot while the booking is active. If a host pauses bookings, the page says so.

Plans and billing

Choose a plan at sign-up. Upgrade straight away, downgrade at the end of the period, or cancel and move to the free plan at the end of the period. Paid through Stripe.

Onboarding checklist

New members are guided through the required setup steps so nothing is missed at the start.

Claim an existing profile

If ICONS created your guest profile or listed your podcast, claim it with an email link (valid 24 hours), or request an email change that the team approves.

Free Podcast Match

Share your role, market, niche, social links and goals. The ICONS concierge team replies with a podcast recommendation. No cost, no commitment.

The Premium badge on guest profiles marks members on the Momentum plan. Visitors can filter the guest directory to premium guests only. See the guest directory →

The Difference

Built for real estate.

49 real-estate-specific podcast themes, and real estate roles and niches in the forms. Agents, investors, lenders, coaches and builders, not a general podcast catalog.

One public page for everything a host needs.

Media kit, speaking topics and suggested interview questions sit together on your guest profile.

Bookings against the host’s real calendar.

Hosts on the ICONS network take bookings on their own Google or Outlook calendar, shown to you in your time zone.

Profile, applications and booking in one place.

You do not keep a spreadsheet of who you pitched. Applying and booking happen where your profile lives.

A person behind the free match.

The free podcast match is handled by the ICONS concierge team, not an automated matcher.

Want a coordinator to do the pitching? That is the Podcast Guesting service, which runs on the same Hub.

For ICONS Podcast Clients

Host Tools: Let Guests Book Themselves

If ICONS produces your podcast, the Hub's host booking tools are included with your production package. Guests pick a slot on your calendar and you stop managing the diary by hand.

Booking settings

Weekly hours (Monday to Friday), date overrides, meeting link, minimum notice, daily and weekly caps (up to 10 a day and 70 a week) and time zone.

Calendar connection

Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, one at a time. Busy times are blocked automatically and new bookings land on the calendar.

Shareable booking links

A personal booking link per podcast. Send guests one link instead of a thread of emails.

Pause and track bookings

Pause bookings for a date range, and see upcoming, recorded, rescheduling and canceled bookings. Mark each one Recorded, No show or Canceled.

Host tools are available to ICONS podcast clients. Not a client yet? See done-for-you podcast production, or browse the podcast network.

ICONS created a profile for me. How do I claim it?

On your guest page, request a claim link. It goes to the email on file and is valid for 24 hours. If that email is wrong, request a change and the ICONS team reviews it.
