"What's My Home Worth?" Valuation Page

A short URL you can say on air that takes a homeowner to a valuation estimate and a follow-up from you.

Who it is for: Homeowners in [City] who are curious about their equity, often years before they list.

Why it works

Why this magnet fits this audience

Valuation leads sit at the top of the seller funnel, and most local agents already have a valuation tool on a brokerage site with a URL nobody could say on air. NAR 2025 puts the median time in a home before selling at 11 years, so long-tenure owners often have no idea what their equity is. The gap is an audio-friendly path plus attribution to the show.

Best for

Local show hosted by a listing agent, with a brokerage or IDX valuation tool already in place.

Effort

To create
1 to 2 hours if your brokerage or IDX tool already provides the valuation widget
To refresh
None for the page; the monthly report keeps it fresh
Basis
Brief estimate for a valuation page built on an existing tool

  6. 06Request a real walk-through valuation
  7. 07Thank-you page: the latest monthly report and the next episode
Sample page
Welcome, [Show] listeners. Type your address and you will get an automated estimate for your home in [City]. Treat it as a starting point. The algorithm has never been inside your house; it does not know about the kitchen, the roof, or the neighbor's fence. On the show we talk every week about what is moving prices on each side of town, and that is the part a formula misses. If you want a number you could actually list at, request a walk-through below. It takes about an hour, there is no obligation, and you will know exactly where you stand.

On air

How to mention it on air

Same read, every episode, at the end. Say the URL twice and give the keyword for anyone who is driving. The editor drops the QR code over the closing line in the video version.

  1. 1.Put the magnet on a short URL. Create a landing page for the "What's My Home Worth?" Valuation Page at [site].com/worth: under 15 characters, no dashes or numbers, not the homepage.
  2. 2.Choose one keyword. Set up WORTH as a text keyword or a comment-to-DM keyword so listeners can get the magnet without typing a URL.
  3. 3.Add the 20-second read to every episode. The script on the right.
  4. 4.Show a QR code and pin the link. Overlay a QR code during the closing line of the video version, and put the link in the YouTube description and a pinned comment.
  5. 5.Tag the link per episode. Use a UTM-tagged link on each placement so the hosting stats show which episode produced each sign-up.

The 20-second read, as Bently Perry would say it

about 20 seconds

“If you've owned your Treasure Valley home for a while, you probably have more equity than you think, and no idea what the number is. Go to homesinboise.com/worth, type your address, and you'll get an estimate in a minute. That's homesinboise.com/worth. Or text WORTH to [number].”

homesinboise.com/worthWORTH

Example read for Your Idaho Realtor; the [number] is the host's text keyword line.

Generic version, with [Show] and [City] placeholders

“If you've owned your [City] home for a while, you probably have more equity than you think, and no idea what the number is. Go to [site].com/worth, type your address, and you'll get an estimate in a minute. That's [site].com/worth. Or text WORTH to [number].”

[site].com/worthWORTH

Placements

Where to put it

  • Landing page at [site].com/worth with the valuation widget and a 'Welcome, podcast listeners' headline
  • Mentioned in every seller-topic episode; a banner on episode pages
  • YouTube description, pinned comment and QR on screen during the closing CTA
  • Monthly reel: 'What moved values in [City] this month', ending with 'Comment WORTH'
  • Quote cards from seller episodes carry the short URL

Follow-up

The five emails after the download

A magnet without follow-up is a download, not a lead. Subject lines and the point of each email.

  1. 1Your estimate, and why it might be wrong

Deliver the number and explain what an automated model cannot see.

  2. 2What your side of [City] is doing

Area-level trend from the monthly report.

  3. 3Three upgrades that pay, three that don't

Practical seller prep, no sales push.

  4. 4When is the right time to sell?

Timing considerations and a labeled example of net proceeds.

  5. 5Want the real number?

Offer the walk-through valuation and how to book it.
