Before: a Tennessee agent who wanted one place for local real estate answers
Krystal built the show to be the go-to source for everything you need to know about real estate in Tennessee, for first-time buyers, experienced sellers and anyone curious about the local market.
An interview show means guests, recordings, editing and publishing for every episode, on top of client work. Krystal wanted her part to be the conversations.
What changed: a production team behind the show
"I just want to give a huge shout out to Icons of Real Estate production team. They have been behind my podcast, The Key to All Things Real Estate."
- A steady release schedule: an intro and ten interview episodes went out between August and November 2024, on podcast apps and her YouTube channel.
- Guests with long local careers: among them Debra Edwards, an affiliate broker in Nashville with 37 years in the business, and Katie Morrell, a Nashville team leader with 22 years.
- Show notes on every episode: each YouTube episode carries a summary, the guest’s links and timestamps.
"Icons of Real Estate for all of your podcast production needs. Hit them up today."
After: ten episodes and a process she calls simple
The show covered investing and house hacking, breaking into Nashville real estate, a move into real estate after the Navy and how the business has changed over 37 years. Krystal recorded the conversations, and the Icons team handled the rest.
"They’re on top of things. I love it, you guys."
What other agents can take from it
- Build the show around your market. A clear local focus tells listeners who the show is for.
- Book guests with long careers. Agents with decades in your market bring stories your audience can’t get elsewhere.
- Hand off what isn’t the conversation. When production is handled, your job is to show up and ask good questions.
