RealSatisfied vs the ICONS Review and Video-Testimonial Collector
RealSatisfied is a paid agent review platform available now; the free ICONS review and video-testimonial collector is planned. Prices, and when to wait.
Picking between RealSatisfied and the ICONS review and video-testimonial collector comes down to timing and video. RealSatisfied is a paid review platform you can use after your next closing, and it publishes ratings to Realtor.com and your website. The free ICONS tool is still planned: a post-close survey, short video clips from clients and website widgets.

RealSatisfied is a working product today, while every line in the ICONS column describes planned features, not something you can sign up for. We took the RealSatisfied column from its agent page and pricing page, read on October 21, 2026.

How much does RealSatisfied cost?
RealSatisfied Agent PRO costs $19 a month billed monthly, or $179 a year billed annually, which RealSatisfied puts at about $15 a month, per the RealSatisfied pricing page in October 2026. The pricing FAQ says there is no free trial and no refunds, full or prorated. If you cancel, the account stays active to the end of the billing period.
The other plans:
Agent LITE: free, through partnerships only. Unlimited surveys, but only your first three client testimonials can be managed and published. You can’t sign up for it directly.
Broker PRO: $125 a month. The first 15 agents are included; extra agents cost a per-agent fee the FAQ doesn’t state.
Enterprise: custom pricing. Any number of offices, plus custom integrations that create accounts and send review requests automatically.
RealSatisfied sends your client a review request after each transaction and publishes the result for you. “After each transaction, RealSatisfied sends your client a review request and automatically publishes your rating and testimonial to Realtor.com®, your website, and your Profile Page,” its agent page says. RealSatisfied was founded in 2010 and lists Atlanta, Georgia as its headquarters.
What Agent PRO includes, from the pricing page:
Unlimited testimonials and surveys. From buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and fellow agents.
Realtor.com integration. Ratings show on your Realtor.com profile.
Your own pages. A customizable profile page, a website widget, a WordPress plugin and a review feed.
Social sharing. One click to Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Outside reviews. A custom review URL, a review button and imports of reviews you collected elsewhere.
Extras. A thank-you gift card integration and an awards program.
Video doesn’t come up on any of the pages we read. The agent page says you can “publish your best testimonials”, but it doesn’t explain how you choose which ones appear.
Best for: an agent who wants Realtor.com ratings and a website widget running this month, for under $20.
What will the ICONS review and video-testimonial collector do?
Icons of Real Estate plans the ICONS review and video-testimonial collector as a free tool, and none of it is available yet. Its launch scope covers the ask, the video and the display.
Here is what’s planned:
A post-close survey. Each client will get a short survey after closing.
A short video clip. Clients will be able to record about 60 seconds on camera, using the recording technology behind ICONS Live.
Website widgets. You’ll be able to embed the reviews you collect on your own site.
Google and Zillow links. Clients will get links to the review forms on your Google and Zillow profiles and post there themselves.
Reuse. Testimonials will be usable on an ICONS guest website and in ICONS Social, which already turns your podcast episodes into social posts.
Some things are deliberately left out. It won’t post reviews to Google or Zillow for you, it won’t let you show only happy clients, and it won’t write or edit testimonials on a client’s behalf. Realtor.com publishing isn’t in the launch plan.
The video is the difference. A 60-second clip of a seller saying why they’d hire you again does more on social media than a five-star rating, and it gives your personal brand as an agent a real voice. If you’d rather tell your own story first, apply for a guest spot on an ICONS show.
Can you thank clients for a review?
You can thank clients with a closing gift, but don’t make it depend on the review. Google’s help page says offering free or discounted goods or services in exchange for reviews is prohibited. The FTC’s Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule, in force since October 21, 2024, bans rewards that depend on the review being positive.
That matters for RealSatisfied’s thank-you gift card integration, which is a useful feature as long as every client gets the gift whatever they write. It also matters for how you ask: the FTC staff Q&A says asking only likely-happy clients isn’t specifically banned by the rule, “but this practice could violate the FTC Act.” Ask everyone. Video testimonials used in ads or episodes may need a disclosure as well; our guide on when testimonials need a disclosure covers it. Treat this as general information, not legal advice.
RealSatisfied or ICONS: which should you choose?
RealSatisfied is the one you can use today, so it’s the right pick for anyone with closings on the calendar. Waiting for the free ICONS tool makes sense mainly for agents who want video and can ask for Google reviews by hand in the meantime.
Closings every month: buy Agent PRO. Every month you wait is reviews you don’t collect.
Realtor.com ratings matter in your market: RealSatisfied. It publishes there, and the ICONS plan doesn’t.
A brokerage to run: Broker PRO, for reporting across 15 or more agents.
A few closings a year and a free Google link works: hold off for the free ICONS collector. You lose little by waiting.
Video testimonials are the point: consider waiting. Short client clips are part of the ICONS plan, and RealSatisfied’s pages say nothing about video.
Nothing stops you running both later: RealSatisfied for Realtor.com ratings, the ICONS tool for video.
What should you ask RealSatisfied before you buy?
Ask RealSatisfied the questions its public pages leave open, because the pricing FAQ rules out refunds once you pay. Five worth putting in writing:
Choosing what shows. How do you decide which testimonials appear on Realtor.com and your widget, and can you hide one? The agent page talks about publishing “your best testimonials” without saying how.
Zillow and Google. What does the “Encourage Reviews Integration” actually send the client, and does anything post on your behalf?
Video. Is there any way to collect or show video testimonials?
Broker PRO extras. What does each agent past the first 15 cost?
Leaving. Can you export your testimonials if you cancel?
Write the answers down next to the price. If you’re comparing several tools, the same five questions work for each.
Where do the other review tools fit?
RealSatisfied is one of several agent-focused review tools, and the right alternative depends on what you need beyond the ask. Our real estate testimonial software compared round-up puts them in one table, including the free Google route.
For a team that wants requests triggered from Dotloop or SkySlope, read Testimonial Tree next to the ICONS collector. For other free tools you can use today, see the ICONS tools page.
